New Beginnings at The Harbor
As the year comes to a close, there are many new things happening at The Harbor in St. Petersburg, Russia!
First of all, the school year is starting! The Harbor Training Center provides classes for its kids who have aged out of the system. These classes take place Tuesday-Saturdays, and the teens are so excited for them to begin! When returning from summer break, many of the students hugged their teachers, showing just how much impact The Harbor has on the children it helps.
The Harbor has also welcomed some new residents! Three boys and two girls have come to The Harbor, seeking guidance from the leaders and making new friends with other residents. This is a big transition for the kids, and Orphan World Relief will be keeping them in our prayers as they adjust to their new routine and home.
One specific resident, Audrey, has been having a hard time - often acting out and getting in trouble. But, all glory be to God because Audrey recently gave his life to Christ! Although this new is truly amazing, Audrey has a lot of work to do, and we continue to pray that God will continue to move in his life.
That's all for this week! Check out www.orphanworldrelief.org for more information on how to support programs like The Harbor.
