Hope Changes Everything for Boy at MdL

Lucas, 2019

Lucas' transformation began over 18 years ago when he arrived at Montana de Luz in Honduras. Before his arrival, his future was unknown because he has HIV, a condition that affects the lives of many Hondurans to this day.

Over the years, Lucas has received more than just treatment for his condition - he's become a "compassionate, observant and generous young man" with the help of MdL who came alongside Lucas to help him grow and thrive.

Within the last few years, Lucas received his vocational certificate in culinary studies, moved home with his family and got a job in a restaurant! Lucas is living his dream, and we can't wait to see what else the future holds for him!
